Formalists believe that a literary text should be transformed into a form through distinctive and non-normative language, so that through it, beauty and transformation of meaning can occur in proportion to the transformed form. In examining a text, they pay attention to the quality of its beautiful form in order to influence the audience through expressive and original qualities and a form that is proportionate to the meaning. From Leach's perspective, distinctiveness in literary works is used in two ways: non-normative, which implies deviation from the standard language in order to create a literary language, and rule-adding, which means adding rules to the standard language, through eight categories of vocabulary, syntax, phonetics, writing, dialect, style, and time. These methods cause the beauty of the text, the transformation of meaning, the audience's thinking, and their greater enjoyment of the literary text. This article analyzes the verses of Jihad in a descriptive-analytical manner, relying on Leach's theory of salience-making, to conclude that in the verses of Jihad, the transformation of form, through salient and non-normative language appropriate to the meaning, through phonetic, dialectal, lexical, syntactic and semantic elements, using syntactic combinations and rhetorical devices of phonology, contrast, omission, abbreviation, brevity, alliteration and metaphor, with the aim of energizing the mind of the audience and making them aware, and highlighting Jihad and placing it at the center of attention, encouraging Muslims to Jihad with the aim of laying the groundwork for the realization of the call to truth and justice, preventing the rebellion of hypocrites and the certainty of God's tradition regarding the defeat of the infidels and extending it to them, has led to the transformation of the meaning and beauty of the literary text in order to influence the audience and create unity.
