The novel "She doesn't die alone." by Saad Jarjis Said is one of the prominent examples of Arabic resistance literature, which was born in the context of war and occupation in 2024 AD and simultaneously contains layers of collective experience, anxiety, and unconscious representation of contemporary man. This research, with a psychoanalytic approach and based on Freudian unconscious theory, analyzes the symbols of resistance in this novel to show how the author's mind, on an unconscious level, has organized the concepts of resistance, death, and liberation through symbolic coding. The research method is qualitative and based on text analysis; this means that by identifying key symbols such as "Tigris River", "woman", "soil", "flame", and "bird", their function in the semantic network of the novel has been examined. The results of the research show that the selection and arrangement of these symbols is the result of the author's collective and individual unconscious performance against the fear of death and collapse. Symbols are not only a conscious reflection of social resistance, but also a manifestation of the unconscious desire for survival and life. Meanwhile, the Tigris River as a maternal symbol and woman as a regenerative element guide the psychological structure of the novel towards a balance between "Thanatos" (death instinct) and "Eros" (life instinct). In this way, the novel transcends the level of historical narrative and becomes an expression of human psychological and internal resistance to destruction.
